I am Michele Carringer and I am running to be your next State Representative for District 16. As a life-long Knoxville native, I truly believe that this is the best place to live, work, and raise a family. I have served Knox County for the last four years serving on the Knox County Commission where I've put focus into:
Better Schools and Safer Neighborhoods
Supporting our Teachers and Law Enforcement
Keeping Taxes Low and Government Small
Defending Conservative Values
Protecting and Growing Small Business
I have spent my life being a passionate and principled voice for Knox County. Together, we voted to keep taxes low, fully fund the school budget and created the Knox County Employee Insurance Committee. Together, we can take this same conservative approach to Nashville and we can build on the incredible legacy of my friend, Representative Bill Dunn.
